Mission Statement

The mission of Mountain View High School is to enable learners to develop their individual potential and to acquire the knowledge, skills, and attitudes needed to contribute to a healthy society and a prosperous and sustainable economy. The school is dedicated to the belief that all students must understand and appreciate cultural diversity; develop critical and creative thinking skills; be technologically literate as well as literate in the traditional sense; be good communicators; have well developed interpersonal skills; be able to work cooperatively with others; have a high standard of values and work ethic; and be life-long learners.
